Steps To Take If You Have A Dental Phobia

If you have a dental phobia, dental fear, or dental anxiety then the following steps need to be taken in order to help conquer your fear.  Below is a simple list of the steps, each of which I will go into further detail about in a future post.

1) Identifying, realize, admit, and accept your fears

2) Make up your mind that something needs to be done to conquer your fear.

3) Use therapy or some method to conquer your fears.  Mental exercises or meetings with a professional

4) Choose the right dentist that will be sensitive to your fears

5) Set your first appointment and have a friend make you go to the appointment

6) Realize that your appointment didn’t kill you and keep up your mental exercises to stay strong
